A former German blogger and friend contacted me last year after browsing through my photo gallery. She was writing a book and asked me a permission to use my photos for her soon-to-be-published book. Isn’t it cool to have your picture on the cover of a book??? Hahaha. Excited; I contacted my friends and asked them if they were okay with the idea. Thankfully, they gave me a permission to use the pictures.

I then got an email a few days ago from Bettina David, the author of the book. She told me that her book, titled Indonesisch Slang — Bahasa Gaul has already been published. Yes, it is about an Indonesian Slang. It is so great to know a foreigner who can speak Indonesian fluently, including Bahasa Gaul. When the first time I visited her blog, I thought she was an Indonesian who lives in Germany!! (Yes, that’s how GOOD her Indonesian is). But then, later on I learnt that she is 100% German! How amazing!

She promised to send me the book for free . Oh I can’t wait to see it hehehe.
