Fau
She’s one of very few friends of mine with whom I feel comfortable talking, whether it’s about the most serious, intense, controversial, intimate, or embarassing stories you could ever imagine. She is an amazing, talented, and smart young woman who is very passionate about science, particularly biology. I always love her passions and I think, that what makes us so close — we are passionate about one or two things. We both have endless dreams that we want to pursue. And we never get bored talking about them! I was sooooo happy when she told me she’s going to visit me in Jakarta. She would do that though she had hectic university schedule and exams in few weeks time. Fau, thanks for being such a wonderful, sweet, and understanding friend! I have so many things to tell you. Can’t wait til I graduate!!

Nurul
Ah, this girl is quite loud and funny. I laughed, cried, and did all stupid and crazy stuffs with her. What I like about her is, perhaps, her flexibility and independence — two values that could also be found on me. She is not demanding, but she is very very stubborn. I like her stubbornness; though sometimes it could be somewhat frustrating hahaha. We used to go around Bogor, Jakarta, and Bekasi by public transports. We have experienced so many things — sometimes the dangerous ones! But I always felt safe going out with her; even if we encountered gangs on the streets. She is like my “bodyguard” hehehe. I’m sure she would have defended and protected me if I was attacked . She and Fau were two people who frequently slept over at my house. Sometimes all three of us would “invade” other people’s houses; Anne’s and Ntie’s — and we stayed there for few days. Oh it was soo fun!

Anas
He was one of the closest male friends I had back in Madania. We used to sit and did group assignments together. We fought, teased, and made stupid jokes. But he could be quite annoying when he’s not in a good mood hehehe (peace, Nas!). People often got the wrong idea when they saw how close we were back then. He was the one who listened to all my anger and stress during one of the ‘hardest time’ of my life at school. He helped me through those difficult days. I would sometimes call him once in a while. And I always feel that I haven’t done enough to repay his kindness.

Ntie
What I like about her is that, she is like a baby girl; a ‘pure and innocent’ version of a 21 years old woman. But she is a strong girl; I would sometimes be surprised when she’s angry. She’s not easy to be influenced by other people — and that what makes her always sticks to her belief and life values. I like to be with her loving family; full of laughter — including her dad!! I like to stay over at her house for days, as her mom always provides me with delicious foods hehehe. She is also very funny. She always makes me laugh with all her gossips. Ooooh she likes gossips! Even those that you didn’t even remember!! And yes, she is NOT a forgetful person. She will always remember the name and details of your past crush or love — even though it’s just for fun! The next thing is you realise that you regret telling her about him hahaha .

Fau and Nurul travelled from Jogja to Jakarta to see me. They stayed at my house for few days. I then went to Bandung with my family; and they followed me to Bandung with Ntie. Once we arrived, Anas drove us around the city. We then went to the train station and said goodbye to Fau and Nurul who headed back to Jogja.
