Postcards
Through penpal interactions that I had in Junior High, I became interested in collecting many stuffs, including stamps and postcards. I got a number of postcards with beautiful scenery from different countries around the world. It was very exciting! But I stopped collecting postcards and stamps by the time I enrolled to High School — due to busy schedules. Thankfully, I still keep all my collections in my room in Jakarta. My wish is to give these precious stuffs (including pictures) to my children later on
— Oh, I have so many things to give them hehehe. Memories should not be buried, right?
Anyway… after living in Brisbane for few months, my interest in collecting postcards was growing. I found out that free postcards are distributed in some shops, cafes, and bookstores in Brisbane. Although these postcards are usually made for advertisement purposes, they are created with a very impressive design (A friend of mine later told me that there are many free postcards being distributed in Jakarta hehe). Sometimes… if I’m having a “stucked disease” when designing a website, I would open my postcard collections to search for some inspiration
