Chat of the Week: IT Geeks

Chat of the Week: IT Geeks

Yesterday, I was chatting with my former IT project teammate and one of my closest friend at UQ, Jay Jay who was now in Singapore. We were talking about his girlfriend whom he promised to tell me about (but he didn’t so I kept asking about it lol). Then the chat came up to here:

Jay Jay: so u got any one u like
Jay Jay: hahaha
Me: hahahah
Me: jj.. i like everyone
Jay Jay: haahha
Me: i like all my friends
Me: hahahah
Jay Jay: haha
Jay Jay: thats reali like u
Me: lol
Me: nah…. i’m cool for now hehehe
Jay Jay: haha
Jay Jay: :D
Me: i’m just keeping them in a storage now haha
Me: if u know what i mean
Jay Jay: ahhaha
Jay Jay: well well
Jay Jay: amalia has tonnes of them
Jay Jay: gotta choose and select carefully
Me: hahahahha
Jay Jay:

try {
      get a good bf
      if good then
          get together
      else
          exit
} catch {
      comments of all your frens abt him
}

Jay Jay: ahha
Me: hahahahahahha
Me: that’s a good code lol

This chat reminded me of how we used to joke about girlfriend-boyfriend and relationship thing using a programming code. One day, after we had a long day doing our IT project, Jay Jay, Chris, Jerry, and I decided to go somewhere to eat. Jay Jay asked Chris if he got anyone he liked. And he came up with a code that made all of us laughed!!

try {
      finding a nice girl
      if she is nice {
          ask her for a date
          if she refuses {
                  throw refusal exception
          } else {
                  go for a date
          }
      } else {
          find another one
      }
} catch (refusal exception) {
      system down
}

This is a result of too much coding! LOL.

I really miss UQ. I don’t miss Brisbane or Australia. But I miss my friends and UQ… :)

* The famous UQ’s Great Court, the oldest part of this university. I love this place more than anything else in Brisbane. This picture was taken by my former housemate, Mayu.
