Vertigo Cafe's Ladies Toilet
If you have ever wondered what took girls so freakin long inside the toilet, then this photo would probably answer your question
.
A few days ago I decided to have a mini gathering with my friends as I haven’t seen them for two months. I don’t think we were busy, it’s just that no one wanted to step up and do the planning (inviting, making calls, reminding, etc). After weeks and weeks waiting for somebody coming up with the plans, I decided to do it. I was sick of going to malls again, so I chose a cafe in Ruwais near Corniche for our place of meeting. I am not a big fan of going to cafe myself, because it’s freakin expensive. But we have no other choice.
Anyway, back to the toilet story…
You probably already know how strange Saudi Arabia is. Taking picture in public places is not actually prohibited, but it is strongly not recommended! People will see you as if they have never seen a person taking picture before and sometimes they will feel offended because they think you are taking picture of them. And few of them will go to you and complain. Some stupid men will even laugh at you and probably feel so happy because… well… how many times a year are they able to see girls like this??? So taking pictures in public places has never been a pleasant experience for both me and my friends.
The only solution is perhaps… to take pictures in the toilet!!
It’s just funny, the moment my friends and I entered the toilet, we took out all our cameras and mobile phones. We began taking so many pictures and not to forget how LOUD our voice was. The moment strangers came in, we acted as if we were fixing our hair or putting our make up. Hehehe. We spent our “flash and flash” time for almost an hour hahaha. It was crazy! But we feel so free doing the pose that we don’t normally do in public places (Saudi Arabia only
). Oh I have never felt so free in my life ever since I arrived in this country LOL.
* This picture was inspired by Karen Cheng. It’s not a good picture coz it was blurry and random (no theme). I need to fix my camera soon… (it’s quite broken hiks)
haloo

I can’t understand why Saudia Arabia Government do not allowed peoples take pictures eventhough in Shop.I do agreed if restricted area like army camp.
