A close friend of mine, Jenny, sent me this lovely card from Japan, a country where she currently worked. I was so happy to receive this card from her! I was even happier to read her letter:

Hey sexy [this is a nickname she gave for me ], I miss having a girl friend to chit chat and complain about boys with . Come to Japan! I’ve always appreciated your openness about who you are and your courage to stand up for your beliefs and principles. Given your cultural background, I’m very proud of the bright, independent and determined woman you’ve become. I wish you many successes, good health, and a top-notch husband / boyfriend!

Upon reading her letter, tears flow from my eyes. I really miss her. Especially in the time like this when I need someone to be with. She is one of few friends who can understand me. We lived together for 4 years when we were in Australia. And now we are apart; she is in Japan, and I am here in the Netherlands. Oh, I wish I can see her soon. Love you, Jenn!
